Features
Available lined or unlined, with optional hand slits and finished with your choice of trim. Options include a wide variety of jacquard trims, in a myriad of colours, period or modern designs and various widths. Alternatively, high quality faux fur fabric for a touch of luxury. Fasteners and clasps are sourced to suit the style and can include metal clasps, frogs, ribbons, buttons or concealed hooks.
Fabrics
A wide range of fabrics is suitable for cloaks, including velvet, silk, wool, satin and fleece. The choice of fabric will depend on the intended use for the cloak. For outdoor cold weather, cotton velvet, wool and polar fleece will provide warmth as well as style. For lightweight bridal, evening, decorative or ceremonial wear, silk, cotton, satin, lace or bridal fabrics. All fabric is purchased to order.
Styles
Cloaks are made from 4 or 8 panels and make a half-circle when laid out flat. The shoulders on all are shaped for improved comfort and fit and finished to your required length. The 8-panel cloak has the advantage of additional tailoring and the option of hand slits and internal pockets if lined. Your cloak can be unlined, fully-lined, hood-lined only or fully reversible. A hood is standard, but can be replaced with a collar, coachman's cape or nothing, as preferred.
Also available are stoles, shrugs and muffs, in various fabrics including velvet, wool, silk and faux fur.
